Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Chris. During my years working in the corporate and FinTech sectors in Hungary, I watched too many international colleagues get overwhelmed and taken advantage of when trying to buy a used car here. What started as informally helping friends inspect vehicles and decode the local bureaucracy quickly became a dedicated passion.

I combined my professional background in risk assessment with formal training as a Certified Automotive Mechatronics Technician and founded CarSherpa to build a service based on one core principle: protecting your investment.
